The game between the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings at the Chase Center had certain plays that has left everybody talking about Stephen Curry’s Warriors. They were also this close to repeating history. The 130-125 win came off the back of a loss to the Denver Nuggets. The season-opening game though saw the team in its full-fledged condition, with a 123-109 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

For starters, the Warriors scored nearly 100 points just from the first half against the Kings. They scored a total of 89. In fact, this was not the first time that they have done so.

In 2018, during a game between the Warriors and the Chicago Bulls, they scored 92 points?in the first half, just 4 points shy of creating history again. It was the second-highest total in the first half of a game in NBA history. The first position is a franchise record that has not been contested since 1990.

The match between the Denver Nuggets and the Phoenix Suns saw the latter score a massive score of 107 points in the first half.

Stephen Curry and the Warriors do it again

Fans have been in a meltdown after the first half of the game. Just as they have been shocked, their reactions also poked fun at the Kings’ defense. They were amused that such a high score was possible. Other people also pointed out that the defense on either team was not present, since the Kings also scored 71 points.

The Kings’ De’Aaron Fox?showed his mettle to be the leading scorer for his team. Stephen Curry showed his leadership skills, as he contributed 28 points to the total in the first half alone.

It was also a first because the Warriors’ former assistant coach Mike Brown was leading his new team, the Sacramento Kings.
