Three games into the new season and the Los Angeles Lakers already find themselves in a corner. Throughout the offseason, the 16-time champions were hesitant on sacrificing their picks to make the right trades. Despite the horrors of the previous season, they chose to stick with an almost similar roster. However, the reality has quickly set in. Dropping three out of three so far, the purple and gold look to be in no position to compete. Now, open to making the much-needed changes, they might be chasing a star from Michael Jordan’s team.

The downfall of the Lakers last season put one thing on the front, their need for shooters. For LeBron James, history is proof of his excellence when surrounded by shooters. However, the Lake show still chose to challenge his track record. Likewise, the decision has quickly caught on to them. While it might have come late, Shams Charania provided a glimmer of hope for the Laker nation. The NBA insider revealed the Los Angeles Lakers are still interested in reading for Terry Rozier of the Charlotte Hornets.

Los Angeles Lakers plan to steal from Michael Jordan?

As the Lakers were caught in a search to find a trade for Westbrook, the line was rather short. No team was interested in gambling on the former MVP without the picks. On the other hand, the purple and gold were adamant about keeping their future. However, one time they showed legitimate interest to trade for the nine-time All-Star to help clear their financial books. With a bunch of young players on their roster, Michael Jordan’s Hornets were on the lookout to sign Brodie to help sort their situation.

Likewise, the Laker nation exploded in glee as the news hit their eyes.

Rozier has emerged as a sniper from beyond the arc in his time with the Hornets. In each of his four seasons, the 28-year-old jas shot over 37%, something the Lakers would drool over. For a team who is barely lingering over the 20% mark, the addition of Rozier could help them space the floor with Anthony Davis and LeBron James on the floor.
