Not everybody gets a chance to be compared with arguably the greatest of all time in basketball, Michael Jordan. And it becomes even more of a rare sight to see if the entity compared with the legend is a 20-yr old rookie. However, despite clearing all the odds, Jalen Green with his performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder impressed the fans to such an extent that they were bound to compare him with Jordan.

Jalen Green clinched a victory for the Houston Rockets after displaying an astonishing performance against the Thunder last night. The Rockets’ guard finished the game with 28 points, 2 rebounds, and 9 assists. However, Green’s performance was beyond just statistics.

The way he went for the alley-oop pass and dunked it with his left hand looked like poetry in motion. Moreover, he displayed many such plays throughout the game and garnered love from the fans.

Jalen Green, along with achieving his career-high nine assists last night, got major appreciation from the fans. Green’s performance impressed the fans so much that they went on to compare him with Michael Jordan. Many felt he has a lot of similarities to his playing style with the six-time NBA champion. Seemingly, the fans really found someone that they thought was a successor of Jordan. One of the fans even commented that Green was the archetype of Jordan. It was apparent from their comments that fans feel Jalen Green looks like the “reincarnation” of MJ.

Jalen Green was born in a suburban city of California named Merced despite growing up in Livingstone. After completing high school, he decided to skip college and joined the NBA G-League side Ignite. Thereafter, his career took a new path by getting drafted into the NBA for the Rockets.

The Rockets’ guard also has a couple of achievements under his name. He won a few medals for the US during his junior years. However, his only achievement in the NBA was getting his name into the 2022 NBA All-Rookie First team.
