And fans were on the edge of their seats throughout the game, as it seemed to be a battle of the exes between Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. Once teammates and brothers, who are now considered rivals, fans feel the matchup is definitely on a personal level as the intensity between the two is through the roof.

The Phoenix Suns are the new fan favorites to go all the way to the NBA finals for their first NBA championship. However, it seems that their first-round matchup already has fans going insane, given the bad blood between Durant and Westbrook over the years.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were one of the best one-two combos back in their days with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Unfortunately, the team often faced disappointment in the playoffs. Eventually, Durant left the Thunder to join an already stacked team and since then has apparently been in the bad books of Westbrook.

Now that the two are meeting in the playoffs, it seems like Westbrook has not forgotten the past. Westbrook was an absolute pest throughout the game whenever he defended Durant.

The nine-time All-Star Westbrook is seemingly on another level when defending KD. His hustle on the floor has not taken a dip and the 2017 MVP is doing everything in his power to slow down his former teammate.
