However, the team is now in shambles from controversies and drama plaguing them from all sides. This includes Kyrie Irving’s recent comments that have caused chaos in the franchise. The NBA world was shocked after news broke out that the Brooklyn Nets All-star point guard, Kyrie Irving, was suspended from the team for at least five games without pay. The suspension came after Irving posted some things on social media that offended members of the Jewish community. Subsequently, a section of fans deemed Kyrie’s post to espouse antisemitic beliefs.
The shocking news came at the worst possible time for the Nets fans. The Nets are struggling on the court. In fact, they have emerged as one of the worst teams in the league despite having three All-star level players in the team. Adding fuel to the fire, the Nets have been bombarded with off-court drama and controversies that have further derailed the team.

Durant said, “I just didn’t like anything that went on.”?Following his 8-word disapproving message, Durant added,?“I felt like it was all unnecessary. I felt like we could have just kept playing basketball and kept quiet as an organization.”?Based on?Durant’s words, one can presume that he is very disappointed with how things are being run in the franchise.?
Following Durant’s comments on Kyrie Irving’s suspension, the NBA world flooded social media with their opinions. And as it turns out, they didn’t hold back against KD. They even surmised that KD will soon request another trade due to the current troubles.
