Fans will be hoping that Beverley’s participation would help the Lakers’ defense, which was a concern last season.
Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverley as teammates after years of bitter rivalry
The new season is only a few weeks away. And the fans can see their idols sweating on the court. Especially for the Lakers fans, seeing Westbrook tossing on a towel to his former rival Patrick was a show stopper. Nothing from the past seems to affect their present relationship. Beverley promptly answered “Super excited” when asked about sharing colors with Russell Westbrook.
The fans are euphoric to see Westbrook and Patrick share the gymnasium and court together. Just after his training, Patrick was in sweats and giving an interview. Everyone witnessed Westbrook standing on the side listening to the interview and throwing a towel and Patrick said ?First dime of the year.??This gesture served as a sign that their conflicts had been resolved.
During his talk with ESPN, Patrick said “Russell Westbrook has been his best friend on the team since being traded to the Lakers this summer.” As always the internet is divided into two sides. One side is pleased for the duo, but the other has some serious misgivings.
That’s it. We’re in the upside down world.
And I don’t know how to feel.
Keep your enemies close? 🤷🏼♀️
