Same old season-long story for the Los Angeles Lakers. Similar performances, similar results, and one adjective for the whole season, disappointing. The Lakers have now gone seven games without a win against the Clippers, their longest losing streak against their city rivals. With the trashing of Thursday night, LeBron James and the Lakers have taken another big hit in the hopes of qualifying for the playoffs.

Reggie Jackson bossed the game as he scored his season-high 36 points along with 9 assists and 8 rebounds. The Clippers brushed aside the Lakers winning comfortably 132-111. The Lakers chased the score all game as they practically have all season. The Clippers have now completed their annual clean sweep over the Lakers emerging victorious all 4 times the two have met this season.
LeBron James Beleaguered
LeBron has been chasing records and scoring points all season, but it has not been enough for the Lakers. They have not picked up form in any stage of the season and have struggled in almost all the games. It has been a high time for a long time, but now it is at the stage of ?enough is enough?. And Charles Barkley has had enough.

The Inside the NBA on TNT reacted to the Lakers’ recent loss. Barkley called out LeBron?s son Bronny when he hinted at the fact that a debutant could make a better impact at this point.
He asked, ?Does Bronny start or get off the bench if he gets on this team this year??
To this, they all laughed and Chuck made another remark, ?Bronny, come out! We need you out of Sierra Canyon!? Hilariously requesting Bronny James to help out the stumbling Lakers.

LeBron, not enough for Lakers’ success

LeBron has taken massive hits following the Lakers? poor season. Although he has scored points regularly with an average of 28.8 points per game, this season, which for a 37-year-old is actually exceptional. He is in the top three in the league only behind Embiid and Giannis.?
However, his overall game where he needs to help the team or carry the team has gone down as compared to his prime. The Lakers as a team have performed poorly also because of injuries to Anthony Davis, the inconsistency of Carmelo Anthony, and weary Russell Westbrook.
