Zion Williamson was the most-anticipated rookie in 2019 since LeBron James. However, countless injuries have plagued his performance in the league. Unfortunately, the young forward is now sidelined for months. Currently, the 21-year-old is recovering from a fractured right foot. Though he has missed the entire 2021-22 campaign, Williamson seems undeterred and eager to recover.
Recently, the New Orleans Pelicans star shared a clip of his dunking, which received some interesting responses online.

In his new clip, Williamson dunks off the board, following which he catches the ball and slams it home.
In the video, fans seemed to notice his new kicks, and the floor bouncing on impact.Unsurprisingly, many expected the comments on social media, as Williamson’s weight has been a point of debate for months.
Is he really leaving dents in the floor when he jumps and lands??? 🤣 https://t.co/1NENrRlLD2

I have never noticed a floor flex like that!!! But I’ve never paid attention to it either.
Is that normal?
Or is this a special flex court, for rehab or something?
What is going on???

He is but it’s most likely a situation where they shut him down because of how many little games are left

Human knees and feet weren't designed to support the things he does with such a big body. Even when fit he's really heavy. I wouldn't have drafted him just for that reason. Too worried.
I hope he comes back and has a nice long career tho. Great athlete.

That landing just pushed him back another 6-8 weeks

Many people seemed concerned over the bouncing floor. Those unaware connected it to Williamson’s weight. However, they also expressed concern about his well-being. Some fans also defended Williams. As the floor is a padded practice floor, is supposed to work in that manner.
A few also wondered how his recovery was going. The Pelicans, as per certain fans, are keeping him out as the season is ending.
When did Williamson return to New Orleans?
According to reports, Williamson was back in New Orleans on March 5.
He was in Portland for around two months where he worked on his rehab, and is not yet cleared for on-court practices. However, he was seen doing some light shooting with his player development coaches. Unfortunately, even though improvement is present, the Pelicans have not yet announced a proper schedule for his comeback.
