Things got quite heated for Miami Heat when they met the Golden State Warriors at the FTX arena. Their star, Jimmy Butler, and veteran Udonis Haslem got into it at the bench and they had to be separated. Butler even got into it with the head coach, Erik Spoelstra.

It was at the start of the third quarter, and the Warriors went on a run. They kept piling on the Heat and they went on a 19-0 run. The Heat took a timeout and Haslem got into it with Butler questioning the lack of effort. Butler did not hold back, and he responded. The duo had to be held back, and Bulter walked away from Haslem. And then, Spoelstra also joined in and went at Bulter.

The Heat lose to a depleted Warriors team

The Warriors were coming off one of their worst losses of the season against the Orlando Magic. The Heat had lost to the depleted Sixers team, and they wanted to get back on track. And they started off well as they built an 11 point lead in the first quarter. The Warriors fought back to tie it up, and it was a back-and-forth game until the half.

Then the Warriors went on their run and opened a 19 point lead. It was after the altercation that the Heat made the comeback and they took the lead. But then the Warriors turned it up a notch and went on another run and clinched the victory. It was an impressive win for the Warriors, especially because they were without Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

The role players stepped up and showed why the Warriors are genuine title contenders. The Miami Heat will need to regroup as this is the second loss in a row to a contender and both times, the stars didn’t play.

It was Jordan Poole who stepped for the Warriors with 30 points. His teammates supported him as four players had over 20 points. For the Heat, Kyle Lowry led the way with 26 points while Bam Adebayo had 25. Butler had a relatively quiet game as he finished with 20 points.
