LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers began their six-game road trip against the Orlando Magic on Friday. After a disappointing loss to the Indiana Pacers, the Lakers looked to bounce back. And they did exactly that. LeBron led all scorers with 29 points while his fellow Hall of Famer, Carmelo Anthony supported well him.
The Lakers had an eight-point halftime deficit as Dwight Howard started at center. Frank Vogel switched it up with LeBron as they rallied past the Magic in the third quarter. They went on a 20-2 run to begin the third quarter as Carmelo scored 19 of his 23 points in the second half. The Lakers ended the quarter with a seven-point lead. They eventually held on to beat the Magic to return to a .500 record.

For the Magic, Jalen Suggs led the scoring with 22 points as they fell to their 14th defeat in 15 games. The Lakers and LeBron will look to get Anthony Davis back on this road trip. They will need to be at their best as they have a very tough stretch of games coming up.
NBA Twitter in Utter Disbelief as LeBron James reverse dunks it again
There was a play at the start of the fourth quarter that caught everybody’s attention. Malik Monk faked shooting, and he drove inside the paint. He saw LeBron cutting to the rim and he just threw it up high in the air. LeBron James not only caught it, but he ended up reverse dunking it.
This was a very similar move to one he had against the Pacers, where Monk again just threw it up and LeBron climbed to the roofs to throw it down.
NBA Twitter was just in utter shock as they saw a 37-year-old Lakers talisman doing this for the second time in as many games. The year 19 veteran has been playing some exceptional basketball, and he has had some ridiculous posters over the course of the season. The NBA fans had to talk about LeBron James’s dunk and they shared what they thought on Twitter. Here are some of the best reactions.
