In the playoff rematch, the Boston Celtics beat the Brooklyn Nets at the buzzer. With Kyrie Irving facing off against his former team, fans were not kind to KAI. They were going right at KAI throughout the night. While KAI had a great game, he gave back to fans in more than one way. Irving had enough of the slander as she flashed the middle finger at the Garden fans. However, fans did not stop there as they took to Twitter.
Before his tenure with the Nets, Irving was on the Celtics. His time was headlined with Kyrie failing to make a deep run in the playoffs. Moreover, his leadership also came to question as he was unable to utilize the young talent of Tatum and Brown. After promising to stay, Irving made his way out of Boston.

He says its fun.🤣🤣 The look on his face doesnt say fun to me. He had a good game today. But he's letting Boston fans rent space in his head. Why even engage? It's just going to get worse. Evict them out your head and ignore them. Or it could cost you later in the series. https://t.co/bAW7vbp38V

While KAI showed out against them, there is no doubt that fans are going to continue with their attacks. Given his history, Irving has done well to deal with the hate.
