The Last Dance documentary is one of the most widely watched basketball shows. It celebrates an era of elite basketball, marked by the dominance of the Chicago Bulls. With players like Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman seen exclusively, the docu-series looks at how the Bulls succeeded in the late 20th century. Yet, The Last Dance also had its fair share of criticisms. And now, Pippen, one of MJ’s best teammates, has lashed out at the series.
Jordan, Pippen and Rodman were the Bulls’ big-three during their three-peats. While the first two won six titles at Chicago, the latter won three. The trio connected brilliantly on the court and used to send tremors down the spines of all oppositions. In the series, fans get to witness the in-depth look of how the Bulls functioned back then. In addition, they get some behind-the-scenes footage, and first-hand interviews from the players themselves.

NBA fans go wild as Scottie Pippen lashes out at Michael Jordan over ‘The Last Dance’
In ‘The Last Dance’, viewers get first-hand insights on the Bulls’ golden era. However, the show came under the scanner for glorifying Jordan, and undermining his teammates. Several of his fellow compatriots have criticized the 14-time All-star for the same, with Pippen being the latest. In a recent interview, he revealed that he was upset about how many members of the squad were disrespected in the 10-episode series.
Scottie reveals he was ‘upset’ with MJ after watching The Last Dance
“Over the next few weeks, I spoke to a number of my former teammates who each felt as disrespected as I did. How dare Michael treat us that way after everything we did for him and his precious brand.”

In response to Pippen’s harsh words of frustration, NBA and Bulls fans were shocked. Many came in defense of Jordan, while others believed that it was a propaganda of ‘His Airness’ to make himself look better. One fan claimed that Jordan pulled out the show only in order to prop himself up. Another compared to him to the late Kobe Bryant, stating that he is “not better”. Let us know what you make of the statements.
MJ saw Bron make that 3-1 comeback and had to pull out the 10 episode docu series that solely props up himself in hopes of preserving the last of his GOAT status. Too bad his own teammates are seeing thru it lmaooo
