The Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics had a matchup of the ages. It was a thriller right up to the final minutes of the game. However, it wasn’t a fun night for Nets star Kyrie Irving, who had to face the heat of the crowd. The Boston crowd was hostile towards their ex-star. Moreover, the boos did not stop for Kyrie. But after the game, Kai said something controversial that did not sit well with the fans.

Irving has had a history of leaving his teams after giving out promises. First, in Cleveland, the former All-Star guard left after handing out promises to stay. He followed the trend with the Celtics as well. After saying he planned on re-signing with Boston, KAI left them in the dust to join forces with Kevin Durant.

The Celtics fans have good reason to be angry at Kyrie. After the Celtics gave up Isaiah Thomas to bring him in, he spent just 2 seasons in the TD Garden.
