The Dallas Mavericks face off against the LA Clippers in a must-win Game 7 in the first round of the Playoffs. Given that they the underdogs in this matchup, Dallas have absolutely put on a show against the Clippers so far.
First, they shocked the NBA with two consecutive wins at the Staples Center but had their backs against the wall as the Clippers made a comeback with two wins of their own. With Doncic struggling due to injury, the Mavs looked in massive trouble.
But Luka came in clutch in Game five. Scoring a mind-boggling 42 points along with 10 assists and 9 rebounds, the Slovenian put on a show in the Staples Center. While they did have a chance to close the series in Dallas, the Mavs did not have any answer for Kawhi Leonard.

With the Clippers trying to put on the clamps on Doncic, the Mavs will hope that their starters can support the Slovenian. So far only Tim Hardaway Jr. has been a constant in the Mavs starting five to score on a regular basis.
If the Mavericks want to complete the upset over the Clippers players like Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber have to score in double digits. Can Dallas finally clinch this series against the Western Conference juggernaut in Clippers?
Dallas Mavericks starting lineup against LA Clippers
The Mavericks have had success in the Staples Center in this playoff series. Their team has simply been unstoppable from the three point line so far and given the traps Clippers will put on Doncic, the Mavs will have to find success from the perimeter. Can Luka Doncic and Co. pull off an upset over the Clippers?
