2020-21 regular NBA season will come to an end on May 16. Until then, the contingency of participating in play-ins or clinching a Playoff spot will continue. Los Angeles Lakers find themselves in a similar spot, hanging at the seventh seed in the West right behind the Portland Trail Blazers.

The play-in tournament will be off to a flying start from 18 May and will end on May 21. Teams from the 7th-10th seed in each conference will head into the play-ins. The four teams, two from each conference, that end up surviving this series will clinch the seventh and eighth playoff spots, respectively.

Which TV channels will air the NBA play-in tournament?

The eight-team Play-in tournament will be aired on ESPN and TNT from 18 to 21 May 2021. The Playoffs for the season will begin immediately after, on May 22 with 16 teams.
