Victor Wembanyama has become a sensation already. The French giant already has a huge fan in Shaquille O’Neal’s son, Shareef. The latter played against him yesterday as the Metropolitans 92 faced the G-League Ignite in an exhibition match. The 7’4″ giant impressed everyone again and justified the hype.

Many have already called him one of the best prospects in NBA draft history. After the game, Shareef revealed that he exchanged jerseys with Steeve Ho You Fat. It was a funny move by the 22-year-old but left everyone in splits after he said that it was “the jersey everyone wanted”.

To put it into context, Steeve Ho You Fat’s name went viral recently after playing for the Metropolitans 92. Actor and comedian Kevin Hart also commented on the player’s name and said, “Either the Fat got to go, or the Ho got to go”. The journeyman French player responded by saying, “Kevin Hart, I heard you like my last name. If you come tomorrow to the game, I’ll give you that jersey, for sure. Appreciate the love, man,” on his Instagram.

Ho You Fat joined the Metropolitans last year after playing for teams like Cholet Basket, Chorale Roanne Basket, and Rouen Metropole Basket.
Shareef O’Neal was lucky to get the much-sought-after jersey. After all, an O’Neal usually gets what he wants anyways. Nonetheless, the biggest headline coming out of this game was how Victor Wembanyama dominated the proceedings.
