Despite the loss, the Lakers possibly suffered something even worse with injury playing spoilsport yet again for LeBron James and co. Nonetheless, as Anthony Davis headed back to the locker room, fans were convinced that the series is rigged.

The Lakers had every chance to end the series and move on to the Western Conference Finals. Unfortunately, an injury to Anthony Davis sealed the fate of LA in Game 5. But fans are doubtful whether the injury was legit or not.

Anthony Davis suffered a possible concussion

The starting five of the Los Angeles Lakers did everything in their power to finish the series in five games. However, the Warriors had other plans as they managed to stay alive to fight another day. The Warriors had three players who scored 20 points or more in the game, along with three other players that scored in double digits. The Lakers, on the other hand, were playing well until Davis went down with an injury.

Even though the Warriors managed to extend the series, fans were more focused on the Lakers big man Anthony Davis heading to the locker room. Davis got hit in the head while going for an offensive rebound. Kevon Looney swung his arm back and managed to hit Davis.

After the ordeal, Davis was escorted to the locker room and did not return for the remainder of the game. Moreover, he apparently left the arena in a wheelchair.

Yet, fans are convinced that this happened in order to extend the series and get more revenue from playoff games.
