Bleacher report recently tweeted about the highest paid players in the league for the year 2021. The list included the earnings of players from both their contracts and endorsements.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James once again leads the pack as he is making a league high $95.2 million this year. After LeBron, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant hold the second and third spot on the list.
However, there is a gap between their earnings and that of LeBron. Steph is making nearly $75 million, followed by Durant’s $65.2 million per year. At the fourth and last spot on the list is Wizards star Russell Westbrook, who is all set to make $58.1 million this year.

LeBron James recently turned 36-years-old, but the King is yet to show any signs of decline. But the day LeBron retires is not very far in the future.
Once LBJ is gone from the league, the spot for the league’s next face will open up. As of now, both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic are making compelling cases to become the next big thing for the NBA.
