“[Lillard] doesn’t want a trade. He is not gonna ask for a trade” as mentioned by Gary while speaking to SiriusXM NBA Radio.

Payton mentioned that Damian Lillard is happy in Portland and is frustrated with the rumors floating around. A few days ago, Damian had also tweeted regarding the issue when he mentioned how the media loves drama.
Damian is the second-highest scorer in the franchise’s history and he is yet to win a championship. Lillard has said repeatedly that it is his dream to win an NBA championship, but that looks bleak if he stays with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Damian has been linked heavily to two teams, the Golden State Warriors from his hometown, and the 76ers. The Trail Blazers are going through a rough patch with coach Neil Olshey getting fired.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Lillard would like a two-year, $107 million contract extension to which Lillard replied, “Gossip”.
“I’m not asking for a trade, I don’t know how many times I have to say it. It’s gotten to a point in this era that people can write stories and say things and ‘I heard this and I heard that’ and because of who they are, people take as, like, this is credible, this is probably true.” Lillard told reporters.

Damian Lillard has been denying rumors repeatedly and has been stressing the fact that he is happy in Portland. This is evidence enough to tell us he is not leaving the Portland Trail Blazers soon, despite all the rumors and news.
