Can LeBron James save the Lakers?

The Los Angeles Lakers are struggling, to say the least. They currently take 9th place in the Western Conference. Although a playoff spot is not impossible to achieve, it sure will not be easy. The team has been hit with injuries and suspensions all season and is depending on LeBron James.

The 37-year-old has carried the Lakers pretty much single-handedly with little contributions from teammates. Russell Westbrook is struggling to find form while Anthony Davis is facing injuries every now and then.

However LeBron is still bossing the league performance-wise. He averages 29.0 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game this season.

Westbrook, on the other hand was the superstar acquisition for the team during the off-season. The fans and the front office expected a lot from him and safe to say, they have been disappointed.

Despite having decent stats, his shooting and turnovers have let the team down on multiple occasions. The former MVP averaged 18.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game this season.

With all the talk regarding the Lakers, Ron Artest believes that the team can turn it around. Replying to the Lakers legend, one fan thinks if Kobe Bryant would have been in place of LeBron, the situation would’ve been different. The reality is completely different. While in his 19th year, Kobe and the Lakers finished 15th in the league.
