The Los Angeles Lakers might not have a good start to their season. But it looks like they are picking up the pace gradually. They were 0-5? after the loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves last week. But the Lakers look like they are back on track with a win against the Denver Nuggets and now against the New Orleans Pelicans. Superstar LeBron James had a decent game against the Pelicans as well. However, during the game, King James was outplayed by All-Star Zion Williamson a few times when they matched up.

LeBron James displayed a match-winning performance leading his team to victory in the overtime period. He almost had a triple-double as he finished the game with 20 points, 8 assists, and 10 rebounds.

Zion finished the game with 27 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds in 37 minutes. Williamson was definitely the best player on the team and fought until the last minute of the game.

Zion Williamson is one of the most promising young stars in the league. He is one of the most dominant players in the league when he is fit. And he proved that by showcasing a memorable performance in the game against the Lakers despite losing the game in overtime.

Despite the loss, the fans loved the performance of Williamson. Many believe Zion could be the successor of James. Like James, Zion Williamson was a national sensation during high school. He finished his high school career as one of the most accomplished players in South Carolina history.

Williamson declared for the 2019 Draft after an electrifying season with Duke University. Like James, Zion was the #1 pick. The New Orleans Pelicans selected him as the #1 pick. The Pelicans fans were excited about their new draft pick. So far, he has impressed whenever he is healthy. However, his injury record is a bit of a concern.

One major difference between the two is Zion’s injury record because James rarely missed games to injury early in his career. If Zion can be as healthy as James has been, it looks like there is no stopping him.
