Sochan became the subject of memes on social media platforms in December when he showed up with a green hair color during a game against the Houston Rockets. The 19-year-old also had a number 10 Spurs jersey on. Incidentally, Rodman also donned number 10 during his time with the Spurs.
Thus, the attempt to look like the Worm from Sochan left the fans calling him ‘Dennis Rodman Jr’. However, in 37 appearances this season, Sochan has averaged 8.6 points 4.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. While the Spurs rookie has not shown his rebounding talents yet, it will be interesting to see if he lives up to Dennis Rodman’s on-court standards in the NBA.
