If there is one person who has single-handedly carried multiple teams to victory, it’s LeBron James. Bron has taken multiple teams with considerably less talent to deep playoff runs, sometimes even the Finals. Although there have been few players in history who have done what LeBron has done, there is no one who has done it for 2 decades.

And LeBron is seemingly doing it again with the Lakers. He is averaging nearly 29 points on over 51% shooting and he is the lone bright spot for the Lakers. Even though he has missed a few games, he has shown up for the Lakers. They might be a lottery team without LeBron James. Hence, the Lakers who were one of the favorites to win the title, are now struggling to even make the playoffs.
Amid this, a random GM has expressed how LeBron James LeBron is still good, but he just can’t carry a franchise anymore.
"LeBron is still good, but he can’t carry you anymore.”

NBA Twitter fuming at GM who says LeBron James can’t carry a team anymore
NBA Twitter went nuts after hearing the comments. They listed out all of LeBron’s achievements and they blasted the GM for such comments. Here are the best reactions::
How many players today can carry a team? Steph can’t. KD can’t. Who can? Lebron is so good he made carrying teams look easy. Few players in HISTORY could EVER carry a team. Lebron did it for almost two decades. Just #GOAT stuff 🐐 https://t.co/UoSfKrtBit

People want him to win in ways that no other player has ever done.

Facts. This makes me think that most people who watch the game don’t truly understand how it works. Being the goat or even a great has never meant you win all of the time. There are plenty of greats that have never won a championship.

If Lebron wasn’t here, the Lakers would be the 11-12th seed rn and in the lottery 😭😭

It’s just sad he’s been carrying for 3 decades

Why are these statements made by “anonymous “ GM’s? You got something to say, put your name behind it. LeBron has to, why shouldn’t these nameless GM’s and media types be held to the same standard?
— Greg Unruh (@RealGregUnruh) February 27, 2022
He’s in year 19 he shouldn’t have to even think about carrying a team at this point.

He is 4th in scoring in the NBA? Second on the team in assists & is second in rebounds. How much more can you ask of one man?

There is no one like LeBron
He has done in the past as well. In his fourth year, he took a Cavs team without another all-star to the Finals. They beat the heavily favored Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference finals and LeBron put his team on his back, especially in game 5, where Bron scored 48 points alone. Then again, in 2018, he took another Cavs team to the Finals. In playoffs, they edged past the Boston Celtics before falling to the Golden State Warriors in the finals.
Other players may be able to say they have done what LeBron has done for a couple of years, but no one can say that they have been doing it for two decades. Stephen Curry did it last year, but it took a toll on him. Kevin Durant did that in the Playoffs last year, but he was exhausted at the end of it. LeBron has been doing it night in and night out, for nearly 20 years now and the King doesn’t look like he is gonna stop any time soon.
