According to Dennis Rodman’s manager Aston Bright in a podcast Mscs Media, he said, “Dennis did a live autograph signing at the hall of fame. Because we’re trying to help make the case for Dennis to get in.” Bright revealed that it was the largest public signing at the Hall of Fame, lasting for five hours.

Rodman’s aim was to establish a positive relationship with the selection committee.
