The NBA has been supplying the fans with intriguing games regularly this season. This past weekend was especially a spectacle to behold. Since the trade deadline concluded with a series of blockbuster trades, the league has taken a completely new direction. Many fans have gotten a new ray of hope as seemingly the teams are pushing hard for the postseason.

In a thriller on Sunday, Kevin Durant helped the Phoenix Suns edge past the Dallas Mavericks in the final few seconds. Los Angeles Lakers legend, Magic Johnson, like most fans, enjoyed the closely contested encounter thoroughly as he tweeted how it “came down to the wire“. However, the fans had more to witness as the game unexpectedly didn’t end there.

With six seconds left on the clock, Luka Doncic missed a simple layup that could’ve tied the game. As fans noticed the unlikely sight, a pumped-up Devin Booker exchanged a few words with Doncic in an attempt to taunt him. Needless to say, fans love it when the best players of the game stand toe to toe, quite literally. This was no exception.

The exchange is particularly significant considering the history between the two players. Luka Doncic and Devin Booker were entangled in bit of a tiff during last year’s Western Conference semifinals as well, before Doncic completely incinerated the Suns at their own backyard with a stunning performance in Game 7.

In the post-game interview, Doncic answered questions about the game with a slight smile. But the loss didn’t prevent him from standing his ground. “It’s a competitive game, it’s all good. Next time, just don’t wait until there’s three seconds left to talk,” said the Dallas Mavericks superstar.

The fans went into a frenzy after all these transpired and swarmed to Twitter with their reactions to the game, as well as the bout between Booker and Doncic. Here are some reactions
