After a patchy couple of seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kyle Kuzma is unlikely to be with the men in yellow next season. The 25-year-old rarely made the starting lineup for the Lakers during the 2021 season. Kuzma’s best season came in 2018-19, but he has not managed to reach that extra level that everyone anticipated. The forward has a bright future ahead of him, but most probably with a new side.

Kuzma reportedly sees himself as being on par with Jayson Tatum

One thing to admire about Kyle Kuzma is his confidence. The Lakers prodigy has great confidence in his abilities and loves to put his best foot forward whenever given an opportunity. His performances may not have been the best of late, but Kuzma has the belief to come out stronger. And according to NBA insider Eric Pincus, the star from Michigan feels he is just as good as Celtics attacker Jayson Tatum.

“I think that Kyle Kuzma perceives himself as someone like Jayson Tatum,” Pincus claimed. “I think that’s how he views himself, and that’s great. You should view yourself as one of the best young players in the league.” The report has emerged following rumors that Kuzma was unhappy in the Lakers setup last season, and is willing to part ways with the side.

The report caught the eyes of fans worldwide in no time. And they did not hesitate to speak their minds regarding the Kuzma-Tatum equation. The fans made fun of the claim and rubbished the comparison.

One fan linked the report to the upcoming NBA Draft, saying that the Thunder will now be interested in signing Kuzma.

Meanwhile, ‘Ryan’ took a massive dig at the Lakers star by claiming that he is nothing in comparison to Jayson Tatum.

Appreciating the confidence of Kuzma, one fan sarcastically laughed it off.
