Jayson Tatum, who was drafted in 2017 by the Boston Celtics, is a three-time NBA All-Star and is on the list of becoming the Most Valuable Player in the years to come. In 2019, Tatum signed with the Jordan Brand and went to Paris for the official announcement of this partnership. This meant that Tatum would be meeting Michael Jordan for the very first time.

“I am extremely nervous,” said Jayson Tatum in a one-on-one interview with Graham Bensinger. Having spent the entire day in Paris talking and taking pictures with Michael Jordan, Tatum and other Jordan Brand athletes rush for the team, ?I go get change for dinner and I come back. I see him again and it is like the first time I am seeing him and I am shaking,? Tatum continued.
During dinner, Tatum hoped to have a word or two with Jordan. But this turned out to be an extremely embarrassing moment for him. He says, ?I went to shake his hand, and I knocked over his wine glass. It broke and spilled over the table. And I was just like Oh My God.?

Signature Shoe in making
Having spent five years with the Jordan Brand, Tatum is finally dropping his signature shoe with the brand. Reports state that Tatum?s signature shoe will drop by Summer 2023 in three colors. The shoe and design have drawn inspiration from Tatum?s son, his home city St. Louis and his favorite drink, Pink Lemonade.
