A few years ago, the Golden State Warriors were a young team that had taken the NBA by storm. They were playing a new and exciting brand of basketball and they stunned the league by winning the NBA title in 2015. The Warriors were led by Stephen Curry, who was at the start of his prime and emerging as one of the best players in the world. He was very exciting to watch and fans really loved seeing him dominate the hardwood.

Even NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr was very impressed and he wanted to come to watch Curry and his play. And when he was able to do that at a price that he thought was much cheaper than it should be due to Steph’s wizadry. Therefore, he wanted to send over a check as if to compensate the price of admission. Or at least that’s what the NASCAR legend jokingly wrote on Twitter.

The Warriors were a team that was playing a style of team basketball. They were constantly moving the ball around and players were always in motion. And they were the pioneers of the three-point revolution. The Warriors had two of the greatest shooters ever, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. They were one of the league’s best offenses and had excellent defense as well. Their play on court was and still is a treat to watch.
Dale Earnhardt Jr ‘owes’ money to Stephen Curry and the Warriors
The Warriors were sensational in 2015 and they became of the league’s most popular teams. Their team had a lot of young stars, but the attraction was Stephen Curry. He was the MVP of the 2015 season and he was one of the best players in the league. Curry ignited the three-point revolution and his style of play made him one of the faces of the league.
NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. was also impressed with Curry and he praised him profusely. He said, “Steph Curry is so much fun to watch. I feel like I owe @warriors a check for the price of admission tonight. Wow”

But the cheque never arrived, or so it seems. Nevertheless, the Warriors became a dynasty in the NBA and went on to reach four straight Finals. The Warriors did have a couple of down years, but they returned to the top by winning the title last year. And they did all that by developing young talents while simultaneously retaining their core.
