Following his retirement from the league, NBA legend Michael Jordan has had plenty of time to polish his corporate skills. Other than being an avid investor in multiple companies, His Airness owns Cincoro tequila, the NBA team Charlotte Hornets, and a NASCAR racing team as well. Therefore, it was given that MJ would arrange a fun crossover between the two sports fields.
Michael Jordan co-founded the 23XI racing team in 2020 along with NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin. The team consists of Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick, and Travis Pastrana. Being the majority stake owner of the team, 23XI is mainly operated by the Chicago Bulls legend.

In a fun crossover segment, Michael Jordan-owned NASCAR team drivers Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick met up with Charlotte Hornets stars Bryce McGowens and Jalen McDaniels. However, it was not your typical NASCAR vs NBA crossover. The official Twitter accounts of Michael Jordan’s teams posted a video on the social media platform where all four athletes took part in a game of hoops.
23 seconds. 11 buckets. Which team you got?

To make it a fair competition, Wallace teamed up with McDaniels whereas Reddick teamed up with McGowens. The game was to make 11 successful shots in 23 seconds. However, there’s a catch. Both Wallace and Reddick had to shoot at least six of those shots. McGowens and Reddick went first with the former shooting the first five shots with ease and then Reddick surprisingly making all the shots in the time crunch.

Wallace and McDaniels went next but it seemed like they didn’t quite plan their partnership well. The duo only made five shots and lost to Reddick and McGowens in the crossover game.
Michael Jordan’s tequila brand
The idea of Cincoro Tequila came up when Michael Jordan met up with Boston Celtics owners Emilia Fazzalari and her husband Wyc Grousbeck, Milwaukee Bucks owner Wes Edens, and Los Angeles Lakers owner, Jeanie Buss. They co-founded the brand after a 2016 dinner where they talked about their shared love for tequila.

The billion-dollar worth tequila brand was created with utmost care. Fazzalari even relayed that she and the Chicago Bulls legend are very thorough while tasting each batch. This is to make sure that the quality and consistency are up to the mark.
