In a statement season, Kyle Kuzma continues to impress one and all. Albeit his stint with the Lakers was cut short, he is now finding his rhythm with the Washington Wizards. Currently sitting in third, it is a much better campaign for the 26-year-old than last year. On Saturday, the Wizards celebrated a late Thanksgiving, overcoming the potent Dallas Mavericks with a scoreline of 120-114. And Kuzma produced some stunning plays, including a LeBron James like dunk.

After a horrid outing in 2020-21, Kyle Kuzma was sent out of LA. Gladly accepted by the capital city, he has had the freedom to express himself in attack. A constant starter, the 2020 NBA champion is averaging around 13.5 points this year. This is a much improved stat from the season gone by, where Kuzma looked a shadow of himself. Combining with fellow ousted Laker Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and the deadly Bradley Beal, ‘Kuz’ and co. secured another victory against Luka Doncic’s men. After the win, he had a couple of shout outs to give.

Kyle Kuzma mentions LeBron James and Jamie Foxx after vital victory
The Wizards, who fell behind at half-time, managed to recover well for the win. Along with his brilliant 22 points, Kuzma also earned himself 9 rebounds and 4 assists on the night. With numbers like that, there was no doubt that he managed to silence the home crowd at Dallas. Seated at the American Airlines Center, however, was some acting royalty. 53-year-old Jamie Foxx, dressed for the occasion with a Mavericks jersey, came out to support the home side. And before the game, he caught up with Kyle and some of the other Wizards.

The meeting only brightened Kuzma’s night further, and he posted the images on his Instagram, captioning it “My g Jamie Foxx.”. He was then charged up during the entirety of the encounter. Entering the battle field, he unloaded some impeccable shots, including a dunk that sent shivers down the Mavs fans’ spines. After the game, the forward paid tribute to former teammate LeBron James. Re-posting a clip of his dunk, he said, “Got this from LeBron James.”
