Basketball is a competitive sport and the NBA reflects the spirit of this competitiveness. The competition level is always high and players don’t leave anything on the floor. However, there are moments when players take the moment to have some fun. Recently, LeBron James was having a conversation with Memphis Grizzlies star, Ja Morant’s dad, on the sidelines.

Ja has come up as one of the big-time stars in today’s league. His improvement from his sophomore year has been unreal. He has improved on multiple parts of his game and is playing some of his best basketball. Notably, he torched LeBron and the Lakers by helping the Grizzlies to overturn a 14 point deficit. One of his main supports throughout his basketball career has been his father, Tee Morant.

While there were light-hearted moments such as these, LeBron James’ night ended in frustration once again. Despite putting on his sixth consecutive 30+ point performance, the Lakers crumbled in the last quarter. Led by Ja Morant’s 41 points, the Grizzlies took over and handed the Lake show their 6th loss in the last seven games.

LeBron James had himself a night with 37 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 assists. His partner Russell Westbrook posted yet another triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists. However, apart from Malik Monk’s 15 points, the rest of the Lakers couldn’t provide the needed support.

On the other hand, the Grizzlies continue their dream run as they got back at the purple and gold. Ja Morant’s 41 points and 1o rebounds stole the show, He was on fire from downtown missing just one of his 7 attempts. Desmond Bane had yet another 20 point game and hit the game-sealing free throws. They improve to 22-14 for the season while the Lakers fall to 17-19.
