Ever since his playing days, everyone perceived Michael Jordan to be an obsessed competitor ready to go to any lengths in order to win. This may very well apply to him when he is playing on the court. However, His Airness is a completely different person when it comes to his personal life.
In fact, most fans are unaware of Jordan as a loving father, devoted grandfather and a family man. In a 2020 interview, MJ’s eldest daughter, Jasmine revealed the Chicago Bulls legend’s relationship with his grandson.

Jordan had three children with his ex-wife Juanita Vanoy, sons Jeffrey and Marcus, and daughter Jasmine. As it turns out, Jasmine’s son has already built a special bond with his grandfather.
Michael Jordan as a grandfather
Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan has numerous titles and accolades to his name. Alongside that, he is also a family man and a successful business tycoon. Apart from his three children with ex-wife Juanita, Jordan has twin daughters with his current wife, Yvette Prieto. His eldest daughter, Jasmine Jordan works as a marketing representative for the Jordan Brand. In 2019, Jasmine Jordan gave birth to a baby boy, named Rakeem Michael Christmas.
According to Jasmine, MJ FaceTimes or goes on a Zoom call with her son pretty much every day. Moreover, during the interview, she hilariously mentioned that Jordan would let his grandson get away with murder.

She said, “He FaceTimes every day or Zoom or something just so that way, that relationship can continue to cultivate and bond and grow. But no, my dad would probably let my son get away with murder at this point. … It’s an incredible relationship to see them develop.”
The same applies to Jordan’s children. He has been a constant support for them since their childhood. Although his sons could not make it big in basketball, it didn’t undermine his love for them.
