Recently, the shocking news of a San Antonio Spurs player getting waived has been making headlines.

The No. 12 pick in the 2021 NBA draft, Joshua Primo, was a rising star. The guard has been waived without an explanation from the franchise. CEO RC Buford’s statement doesn’t give much clarity or reasons as to why they took such a decision. “It is our hope that, in the long run, this decision will serve the best interest of both the organization and Joshua,” Buford said.

 

Fans are shocked at the sudden news and the press release by the San Antonio Spurs. Many assume that he must have done something that put him in a compromising spot, forcing the team’s hand in waiving him. Other reports claim he’s stepping away to focus on his mental health.
