While millions of kids dream of one day becoming the ‘Batman’, the DC actor himself has an influential figure he looks up to and aims to follow his path. In his latest directorial venture, Ben Affleck is all set to show the events that led to the iconic deal between Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan and Nike. While he took on the role of the billion-dollar sports company’s founder Phil Knight, there is one particular individual he wants to be like in reality and the reason is rather hilarious.
One of the most anticipated sports dramas of 2023, “Air”, will hit the screens on April 5. Directed by Affleck, the film features an ensemble star cast of immensely talented actors including Matt Damon, Viola Davis, Jason Bateman, Chris Tucker, and Marlon Wayans.

In a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Ben Affleck confessed that he wanted to be like Chris Tucker when the host brought up his previous statement. During an interview with ET Canada, Affleck stated that he wanted to be Chris Tucker when he grew up. Recalling that, the “Good Will Hunting” actor explained that Tucker was a great dad and a brilliant person. However, that’s not the only reason he envied the “Rush Hour” star.
Affleck said, “He knows everybody. I’m not even kidding. You can bring up a name, it doesn’t matter if it’s like Muhammad Ali, Paul McCartney, Jesus. You know Chris is like ‘Yeah, that’s my boy!’
He continued , “I’m like ‘What do you mean that’s your boy?’ How do you know…not only does he know Michael Jordan, I was like ‘There’s this guy, Howard White, who works at you know…I know Howard White! He’s my friend’. I’m like ‘This is an unbelievable’.”

When Clarkson confirmed with Tucker if he really did know everybody, he simply replied, “I kinda do.”

While Tucker only recently got into the whole ‘Sneaker Culture’, there was one particular pair of shoes that he treasured for years.
