The love and respect for combat sports has increased around the world over the years, especially after the tales of great boxers like Ali and Tyson spread across boundaries. Almost everyone acknowledges the fact that anyone who steps in the ring deserves respect. In a recent post, Shaquille O’Neal echoed similar emotions as he shared a display featuring some of the hardest hitting lb-for-lb fighters in boxing history. The ruthless compilation had many legends showcasing their craft, along with their mind-blowing KO records, including the legendary Mike Tyson. Fans couldn’t help but go gaga at their explosive abilities and their unfathomable records, as some even remembered the great Muhammad Ali while witnessing their punches.

Shaq is understandably in awe of the legends just like many others around the world. The fans bombarded the comment sections with their dazzled opinions on the tremendous gladiators who liked to put on a show for the masses. Additionally, they discussed if anyone from the current generation could be placed on the legendary list.

In his recent Instagram stories, Shaq shared a reel that featured the greatest ever pound-for-pound fighters to step inside the ring. The list ranked eight hardest hitting boxers in history, who had insane fight records, with the majority of their wins coming via KO. The list displayed legendary boxers like Mike Tyson, Sonny Liston, and George Foreman, among others. The mind-boggling records were on display, and it was difficult to absorb that fighters like Mike Tyson had 50 wins with 44 KOs.

The list ensued numerous reactions from fans as many of them debated on who was the best among the best. The comment section was flooded with reactions as some even brought the legendary Muhammad Ali into the conversation. Here are some of the reactions

Muhammad Ali defeated Sonny Liston and George Foreman in his illustrious career, who were included in the list. Mike Tyson was understandably the favorite among many fans, but even he believed that the great Muhammad Ali could not be matched.

In a very old interview, when Tyson and Ali were seated in front of each other, Mike Tyson confessed that there is no one greater than Ali. In a heartwarming clip, Tyson expressed his love and respect for the legend. “I know I’m great, but can I tell you something? In this situation, every head must bow, every tongue must confess: This [Ali] is the greatest of all time,” said Tyson while talking about his idol.
