NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is undoubtedly one of the funniest basketball players ever. He is also one of the busiest people out there with appearances on different shows and podcasts. The former MVP’s antics with NBA legends Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson on ‘NBA on TNT’ are comedy gold for NBA fans. And his special ‘Shaqtin’ A Fool‘ has a huge set of fans. Shaq recently talked about a former NBA champion who was a regular on the show. It was former Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young.

‘Swaggy P’ won a ring with the Golden State Warriors in the 2017-18 season when they swept the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was his only season for the Dubs. In the next year, he moved to the Denver Nuggets but was waived just after 20 days. And he has not played ever since. Like a lot of former athletes, Young was set to make his boxing debut against the rapper Blueface recently.

But the rapper dropped out of the fight as he did not receive his boxing license. So Young made his debut against TikTok star Malcolm Minikon who was a late replacement. And things ended bizarrely, to say the least.

Shaquille O’Neal names Young’s spin move

During the fight, Nick Young was sent flying through the ropes with an illegal shot by his opponent. This brought an end to the match. Young was not happy with how things ended and called out his opponent. He said that his opponent took a cheap shot on purpose because he was losing. In the latest episode of ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’, Shaq, Nischelle Turner, and Spice Adams talked about the fight. The crew was in splits watching Young in the ring.

And Shaquille O’Neal shredded the former Los Angeles Lakers player when Adams asked him to name the unnecessary spin move. O’Neal said, “Muhammad A-Hell-Nah!… Leon Stinks!” Turner and Adams could not control their laughter hearing this.

However, Young had his moments in the ring. But things ended abruptly. Interestingly, before the fight, Young named D’Angelo Russell as the NBA player he would like to fight. They played together during their time in Los Angeles. And they have some history.

Russell allegedly recorded Young without his consent while he confessed to infidelity in his relationship with Iggy Azalea as a prank. But the video surfaced on the internet which ended Young’s relationship with Azalea.
