Mother of Shaquille O’Neal’s 6 Kids, Ex-Wife Shaunie Shares Photos of New Husband with Her Children in Wholesome Mother’s Day Message

The NBA’s Big Man was married to Shaunie Henderson from 2002-2011. The two then parted ways and last year Shaunie married Pastor Keion Henderson. Shaquille O’Neal never tied the knot again, although he has been in several relationships since. Shaq is a father of six children, four of them he shares with Shaunie. The kids of the LA Lakers legend were recently seen on Shaunie’s Instagram post on the occasion of Mother’s Day.

The ex-couple are still believed to be on very good terms. Even though their union of marriage ended in 2011, they maintained good relations for the sake of their kids. Shaunie remarrying Pastor Henderson hasn’t changed anything in terms of the family dynamics as Shaq’s kids can be seen posing for pictures with Shaunie’s new husband in her recent Instagram post.

The Big Aristotle is revered for his wisdom and intellect at this stage in his life. However, things were different in his younger days. Shaq, on several occasions, has admitted to being unruly outside the court, especially before his kids were born. Still thankful for Shaunie’s presence in his life, the Big Man believes that their marriage ended because of his own fault.

These are, however, things from the past. Shaunie has always been her kids’ biggest supporters. Even though she has now remarried, her kids remain Shaunie’s priority.

In her recent Instagram post, she shared a beautiful edit of several pictures of herself and Pastor Henderson with the kids. The video even had a cover version of Tupac’s melodious hit, Dear Mama playing in the background. Shaunie wrote “Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the Moms out there 🥰,” in the caption. Several people reacted to the heartwarming Mother’s Day post in the comments.

Shaunie refers to her new husband as the man of her dreams. She had said that, “It feels so good to have the partner that you, and that we all dreamed of right as the little girl.”

Although everything is good between Shaq and Shaunie as an ex-couple, the 4x NBA champion has expressed his regret over his failed marriage on several occasions.

The 7-foot giant has a soft and kind heart. With age, he has matured enough to acknowledge the mistakes he made as a young man. Shaq has expressed his regret over his marriage with Shaunie several times. The Big Man feels that their marriage ended way too soon and that he is the one responsible for it. Shaq was said to have had affairs while being married to his ex-wife. He had confessed that, “She was awesome. She really was. It was all me.”
