Apart from being a three-point specialist for the Milwaukee Bucks, Joe Ingles is also a father of three. He shares all his children with his wife and former netball champion, Renae Ingles. However, one fact many may not know is that his eldest child, Jacob has been diagnosed with Autism. Recently, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo’s girlfriend Mariah Riddlesprigger proved that Milwaukee is nothing but a community that supports one another, by sharing the story of Jacob.
Since his days with the Utah Jazz, the Ingles household has worked relentlessly to spread awareness of Autism. They even partnered up with Kulture City, an organization that aids in the tackling of diseases such as Autism. As the Bucks took on arch-rivals Philadelphia 76ers, they celebrated Autism Acceptance Night. Leading the front was unsurprisingly Renae Ingles. However, she had the assistance from several Bucks ladies, including Riddlesprigger.

The fashion entrepreneur shared an Instagram story where Renae spoke about the impact she aims to make with Kulture society. Above all, the 36-year-old stressed over wanting everyone to feel accepted. From the experience of raising Jacob, she is well aware of the struggles that can arise with acceptance. But with some help, she and Joe Ingles have managed to not only make Jacob feel safe and comfortable, but also get him the best of treatments.
As the Bucks celebrated Autism Acceptance Night, the women of the franchise came together to show their support. The partners of Brook Lopez, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Grayson Allen, Jevon Carter, and Giannis Antetokounmpo came together to support the Ingles in their mission.
The Bucks have always been about building a community. Mariah and Giannis themselves have taken up several initiatives to make the city a better place. This gesture was just another instance where the unity and sisterhood of the Bucks took a victory.
