Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant can’t seem to catch a break from controversies. Months ago, he got entangled in a major controversy after he flashed a gun on his Instagram live session from a strip club. The action resulted in his suspension and he ended up losing $40 million on his contract in the long run. Once again, Morant has gotten himself suspended from the Grizzlies’ team activities after momentarily showing a gun during an Instagram Live session.
Morant is one of the best new-age athletes in the league. However, he has time and again failed to preserve his reputation as an ambassador of the league and its image. This time with yet another Instagram live, Morant’s suspension may end up costing him more if he is not careful.

Earlier in March, Morant flashed a gun during his Instagram live session. He was streaming from inside a Colorado nightclub. Back then his action was questioned and criticized by veterans, critics, and even fans. The point guard was then suspended for eight games without pay. As the playoffs were closing in, Morant joined his team after issuing an apology, especially to his parents. At that time, the star appeared to have understood what he has at stake and that he had made a big mistake. His suspension had also cost him an All-NBA selection, which resulted in a $40 million loss for the youngster in his contract.

Recently, another video has surfaced where the 23-year-old is seen in a car with his friends. At one point, Morant pulled out a gun, and as soon as his friend, who was streaming all this on Instagram live saw that, he was quick to point the camera in another direction.
