Former Los Angeles Lakers player Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian first met at a party in 2009. They dated for only a short time before getting married in September of the same year. After four years of marriage, the couple’s happily-ever-after dream came to an end in a very unfortunate way. Earlier this year, TMZ released a documentary, Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians, where Odom expressed his love for his ex-wife. Meanwhile, the 43-year-old recently addressed his relationship dynamic with Khloe at the moment.

Odom confessed that he wished to rekindle his relationship with Khloe in the 43-minute documentary. He also praised her for being a great wife and for always looking out for him.

Lamar Odom addresses his relationship status with Khloe Kardashian

In the TMZ Presents: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians documentary released earlier this year, Odom confessed his love for Khloe. Other than admitting that he would love to take her out to dinner, Khloe also received an “I still love you” message from her ex-husband.

Although the NBA vet admitted that he is “shy” and that is why it is difficult for him to reach out, he said, “I’m a Scorpio and I hate being told no”. Odom also talked about his past mistakes, especially when he was with Khloe. He said that he regrets his decisions and choices while admitting that she was a great wife to him.

The 2x NBA champion was recently spotted coming out of an airport. He was approached by a TMZ Sports reporter who asked him questions about his relationship status with his ex-wife. Odom replied “No” when asked if he is still in touch with Khloe.

He also admitted that he is no longer involved in the life of his ex-wife. However, when the reporter asked if the two are still friends, Odom had a different reply. He said, “Maybe friends, but that’s about it.” This comes months after Odom confessed his love for Khloe in the documentary.

Lamar Odom sings high praise for “God James” and the Lakers

The ex-Lakers star was in a great mood while talking about the Lakers and their road ahead of the playoffs. He also said that the LA side bringing in Tristan Thompson will turn out to be a great decision for them. When asked how far the Lakers will go this year, he said “I think they’re gonna win a championship.” He also delivered high praise for LeBron James. Odom said that King James still has it in him and he is “the God of basketball”.
