Sacramento Kings are probably not ready to go home just yet. Following three consecutive defeats against the Golden State Warriors, the Kings, led by De’Aaron Fox, came into Game 6 with a strong mindset. Stephen Curry, who continues to shine in the postseason, couldn’t help but watch their rivals force a Game 7 in Sacramento. The Warriors were far from their best and it helped the Kings dominate them in San Francisco. After the heartbreak at home, Warriors fans expressed their frustration by slamming the 23-year-old for his sloppy play in the game.
The Warriors have been a menace at home all season. But Stephen Curry and co. fell prey in front of their own crowd. With the series now shifting to Sacramento, the onus will be on the Kings to move on in the postseason in the win-or-go-home game.

‘Clutch Player of the Year’ De’Aaron Fox led the Kings to a 2-0 advantage in Sacramento to light the beam. However, the Warriors, bringing back their championship mindset, won three straight games to send a shiver down the spine of the Kings fans. With a young roster appearing in the Playoffs after 16 long years, the Sacramento Kings continue to be at par with the defending champions. However, Jordan Poole’s inconsistent performances in the series have led to a lot of slander.
23-year-old Jordan Poole, who was a key piece for the team in the 2022 postseason, might not be one anymore. Failing to take an easy rebound at a crucial time, the young guard faced all the heat from the fans. With just 69 points in 6 games this postseason, the NBA buffs believe the 6’4 guard is “overpaid”.

Poole averaged 17.0 points along with 3.8 assists and 50% shooting from the floor in last year’s Playoffs. He even deputized for Curry extremely well when the four-time NBA champion went down with an injury. However, things haven’t been the same for Poole this year. The 23-year-old has averaged just 12.7 points on 33% shooting.
Moreover, his defensive lapses have allowed the Kings to score at will with him on the court. The Warriors will need Poole to step up in Game 7 if they want to go all the way again.
Fans’ react to Jordan Poole’s sloppy play
The Warriors have an awful record on the road this season. Though the Dub Nation bagged a Game 5 win in Sacramento, things seem pretty hectic after their unexpected home loss. This will be the first Game 7 of the 2023 playoffs.
