A major controversy took place during Game 2 of the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings. Apart from the Warriors finding themselves in a 0-2 playoff deficit for the first time since 2007, Draymond Green got handed a flagrant two-foul leading to his ejection from the game. Naturally, the four-time NBA champion has his side of the story.

The Sacramento Kings looked like a much better team than the Golden State Warriors, handing Stephen Curry and the Dubs their second straight loss since the 2019 NBA Finals. Moreover, the Kings faced little resistance, winning the game 114-106, building momentum from their Game 1 win.

Draymond Green was ejected from the game with over seven minutes left to play in the fourth quarter. Malik Monk drove to the rim for a layup and Domantas Sabonis tried to position himself under the rim for the rebound.

Sabonis was knocked onto the floor and decided to cover his face, locking up Draymond Green?s leg in the process. As Green tried to get his leg free, he ended up stepping on Sabonis? chest.

Now, according to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski, ?Sacramento Kings All-Star Domantas Sabonis is undergoing X-rays on his ribs/lungs, sources tell ESPN. Sabonis is getting evaluated after Draymond Green stepped on him in Game 2?.

Although Green was handed a flagrant two foul, Sabonis too was called for a flagrant one foul as he grabbed Green’s leg. After the game, the 33-year-old joined the media for a post-game press conference and gave his side of the story.

When asked about him stepping on Sabonis, Green claimed, ?My leg got grabbed. Second time in two nights?. Further, the reporter asked whether it was Sabonis that held him both times.

In response, Green said while lashing out, ?No, it was Monk last game. Right on the baseline under the rim. So, either you?re gonna stop it. John Goebel was looking at Monk hold my leg the last game and he just let it go. And Zach was clearly watching my leg get held this game and let it go. So, I guess ankle grabbing is okay?.

Green clearly wasn?t happy with the call and questioned the officials who decided to look over Green?s leg getting grabbed. Now, it is still unclear whether the league issues an investigation into this altercation.
