However, there may be good news for rom-com aficionados as NBA player Dwyane Wade‘s wife, Gabrielle Union, is here to give the genre a spin. The 50-year-old actor recently announced the release of her upcoming romantic comedy movie, The Perfect Find on her Instagram.

Union’s announcement caught the attention of many including the former NBA player Carmelo Anthony‘s ex-wife, Lala Anthony, and Kelly Rowland. Incidentally, Union shared the news just a few hours after spending time with the Grammy Award-winning artist, Ludacris.

Union is a social media enthusiast and often shares posts surrounding her family. This time, though, she used it to make the announcement of her upcoming film by sharing some snaps from the film. The caption of the post read, “It’s almost time! First look at my new movie, THE PERFECT FIND, coming to @Netflix on June23! @NetflixFilm #ThePerfectFindNetflix #Tudum.”

The first photo unveils her sharing a moment with Keith Powers, the leading actor in the film. In the second photo, she can be seen sharing a smile with co-star Gina Torres. Lala commented on her post by saying “We had the best time shooting this.” Rowland said, “Can not wait to see this!!!” Powers commented, “Can’t wait for yal to tap in.” Not only them, but even fans also expressed what thoughts they were having in their minds.
