From supporting her on the court to celebrating festivals together off the court, their bond grew stronger over the years. There has been a lot of excitement in the WNBA as the former no. 1 overall draft pick shared some news recently. 

After dating former Oregon Ducks and Las Vegas Raiders’ center Hroniss Grasu for several years, they decided to move forward. Recently, Ionescu and Grasu announced their engagement. In a post on social media, she said, “It’s always us here’s to forever with you. 1.20.23 #finally” with beautiful images of the couple together. 

Fans cannot forget the Bryant family, as immediately after this news went viral on social media, Vanessa Bryant called Ionescu to congratulate her, but it appears she didn’t pick up the call, according to what she posted on Instagram.

Taking a screenshot of a missed call and sharing it with a beautiful message saying, “Missed your call at 12:14 a.m. This morning and called you right back when I saw this pic. Soooooo happy for you and Hroniss!!! Such a good wake-up call! Yay!!!!” For Ionescu, Bryant’s family has always been very special to her, and at this special moment, not having his inspirational Los Angeles Lakers legend by her side broke many hearts.
