Giannis Antetokounmpo Now Has a Personalized Chick-fil-A Blend to Commemorate His Special Order

Giannis Antetokounmpo might not be a ‘Devin Booker style’ eye-pleaser but he is certainly a captivating personality. The Milwaukee Bucks flag bearer has a raw sense of humor and his monologues are living proof. Be it his super honest post-game interviews or those crazy self-shot videos, the Freak is a showtime madness.

After becoming the 2021 NBA Champion, the Greek added more craziness to his hysterical alter-ego. He pulled up at a random Chick-fil-A outlet and ordered something that soon became a world-famous combo. So much so that it inspired the company to launch a whole new addition in their menu.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is now an unofficial Chick-fil-A brand ambassador

The Bucks were low-key in their EC Championship win celebration. The idea for them was to celebrate full-fledged only once they win the NBA title. So just as they did, Giannis Antetokounmpo showered under champagne, danced, and pulled an all-nighter. Later, he went driving to a Chick-fil-A outlet.

Sitting in the car, 26-YO funnily exclaimed, “I can’t sleep man! First of all, I needed to be in Vegas right now, partying. But I’m here ordering Chick-fil-A with the two trophies, of course I will bring. These trophies will not leave my side. What if I suddenly wake up and this is all a dream? These trophies are my security. I touch them and it is real.”

But that was not it, he ordered a personalized combo that made headlines. To the waitress, the Freak asked, Can I have 50 piece McMinis? 50 exactly, not 51, not 49, Chick-n-Minis, yes. And let me have a large drink, Sprite, no ice, half lemonade? Woo, Bucks in 6!”

Why was ‘50’ so important to the Milwaukee Bucks leader and what else followed?

With more than 150,000 people streaming Giannis’ on-road madness, his obsession with ‘50’ was obvious. After 1971, the Bucks took exactly 50 years to gift the city of Milwaukee with another Larry O’Brien Trophy. Plus, Giannis scored his career playoff-high 50 points in the night that helped him tie Bob Pettit’s record in a title-clinching game.

Also interestingly, this stunt from the FMVP led to yet another multiple of 50 worth remembering. Reportedly, Giannis’ self-motivated endorsement of Chick-fil-A led to the fast-food company’s brand value almost earning $250,000 overnight.
