When it comes to parenting, everyone has their own tactics for teaching their kids about values and raising them and so does Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq values education like every other parent and wants his kids to make a name for themselves on their own. Additionally, he has also made it clear that the NBA legend’s kids will not inherit even a dime of his wealth unless they get at least two degrees. While the Los Angeles Lakers legend is a strict parent in such matters, he turns into a big softie especially when Santa Claus comes to town.

Like Shaquille O’Neal, actress Mila Kunis too is a parent and has her own set of rules to raise her children. When the two met and got into the whole parenting conversation, comparisons were drawn and as a bonus, embarrassing stories were spilled.

Shaquille O’Neal loves buying gifts for his kids

In an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, released in 2017, Shaquille O’Neal filled in for Kimmel as a guest host and interviewed Mila Kunis who was the guest star. Kunis had made the appearance to promote her 2017 movie, A Bad Moms Christmas. Since the theme was Christmas, the Big Aristotle told Kunis that he heard the mother of two didn’t buy presents for her kids during Christmas. Kunis immediately termed it as false information and clarified that she did buy gifts for her children but she always made sure not to indulge.

At that moment Shaq let out a gasp as a joke following which Kunis asked him what he had done. In response, the Hall of Famer called himself Shaq-a-Clause and offered Kunis to buy presents for her kids. Kunis then inquired about the kind of gifts Shaq gave his children. The audience cracked up when Shaq replied ‘EverythingTheyWant.com’. When the 15x NBA All-Star mentioned that his kids were present in the audience, Kunis looked at them and asked Shaq, “Those are your spoiled brats?”

Kunis then asked Shaq’s youngest daughter, Me’arah O’Neal, about the last gift her father gifted them. The 16-year-old replied that she got a phone from dad just a day before when her phone screen broke.

Shaq told Kunis, “She called me and I delivered in 10 minutes. ‘Daddy, can you buy me a phone? Sure, here’s your phone baby’.”

For a father who fulfills every little demand and wish of his kids, he sure does run a tight shift when it comes to inheritance.

Shaq’s kids might not get their inheritance

It seems like Shaquille O’Neal has his own way of making sure his kids understand the value of money. In an episode of Earn Your Leisure, Shaquille O’Neal shared that his children will not be getting even a penny from his asset. According to Shaq, his kids are required to first have a degree and in the case of his boys, a good business idea as well.

Shaq said, “I tell them all the time ‘we ain’t rich, I’m rich. You got to have Bachelors or Masters and then if you want me to invest in one of your companies, you’re gonna have to present it boom boom boom bring it to me, I’ll let you know. I’m not giving you nothing’.”
