Shaquille O’Neal was (and in many ways, still is) a superstar of the NBA. His dominance and brute force allowed him to destroy his opponents on the court. The ‘Big Aristotle’, as he is fondly called, amassed over 28,500 points and 4 titles during his 19-year career in the league.

His performances have allowed him to not just amass points and break records, but also collect paychecks. This, coupled with his off-court achievements, has helped him earn the millionaire status that he now holds today. Furthermore, Shaq even purchased a mansion in Atlanta for over a million dollars.

Shaquille O’Neal buys an entire towel section

During the 8th episode on Season 2 of ‘Acts of Shaqness,’ the big man made a trip to a local store to purchase towels (and other things) for the rooms of his house. It was there that Shaq (visibly) bought the entire towel section for his house.

Although the man has over 4 rooms in his house, Shaq was unable to calculate how many towels were required in total.

“I ain’t doing all that,” said Shaq as he dumped multiple towels from the section into his shopping cart.

This incident was not just an indication of Shaq’s millionaire status, but was also an example of how Shaq’s acts also tickle the funny bone with his quirky acts. Keeping things lively, the big man even bought things for other shoppers in the store. Maybe the millionaire status brings a sense of community responsibility too.
