Shaquille O’Neal once rewarded a builder with three kisses in a row for successfully completing his ‘dream’ project worth $400 million. Over the years, the Big Diesel has garnered the reputation of spending millions of dollars on outlandish projects and commodities. However, this particular project turned out to be such a spectacular success, that Shaquille O’Neal could barely contain his excitement.
In 2018, Shaq had the urge to build a beautiful treehouse in his spacious backyard. As a result, he contacted the showrunners of Animal Planet’s popular show Treehouse Masters to undertake the project.

Shaquille O’Neal kisses builder after seeing his treehouse for the first time
After the completion of his ‘dream’ project, Treehouse Masters host and master treehouse builder Pete Nelson ushered Shaquille O’Neal to the location of the house. Nelson had to really stretch his arms to cover Shaq’s eyes to maintain the intrigue.

On the other hand, Nelson seemed pretty elated too by Shaq’s reaction. Even though he probably felt a bit overwhelmed by the sudden Shaq attack, he looked extremely pleased with his creation and the reaction it inspired.
Shaq’s $400k treehouse
$400k might seem a bit extravagant for a treehouse. However, Shaq’s magnificent project resembled an actual house in its spaciousness.
It also came with a hand-crafted metal fire-pit on the porch and a nine feet mahogany door at the entrance. The house had an intricate tin structure for a ceiling.
Inside the wooden structure, Nelson had furnished the interior according to Shaq’s liking. Among other things, the inside of the house had a poker table, a dart board, and a full-service bar.

In addition, one of the walls had a huge oil painting of Shaquille O’Neal hanging from it. Therefore, it’s not surprising at all that Shaq showered the builder with kisses after seeing the house.
