It seems like Kyrie Irving has become the primary target for criticism yet again. Millionaire rapper Boosie Badazz made some pretty strong claims against the Brooklyn Nets star. In an interview with journalist DJ Vlad, Boosie was all-praise for NBA superstar Kevin Durant. However, he had a whole other opinion for fellow teammate Irving. The conversation came up when DJ Vlad compared Irving to NFL star Antonio Brown.

During the interview, DJ Vlad talked about the recent issue involving NFL superstar Tom Brady and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammate Antonio Brown. The situation was compared to that of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Specifically, Brown was compared to Irving. Earlier, Brown had shared a screenshot of a text message sent by Brady where the quarterback called him selfish. DJ Vlad was clearly against Brown’s actions which then led him to draw comparison between Brown and Irving.

DJ Vlad stated that both Kyrie Irving and Antonio Brown didn’t possess the kind of discipline that was needed to be one of the highest-level players in the major leagues. Boosie agreed with Vlad and said that one had to be a team player. He added that every team needed two stars who would be able to shoulder the responsibilities that came with being a great athlete. In addition, Boosie seem to feel sorry for KD. “I really be feeling sorry for KD bro. I f*ck with KD you know,” he said.

The popular rapper also called out Kyrie Irving for not supporting his superstar teammate. Boosie added,“He[KD] just wants you to play basketball with him. But like I said, I think he just got to a point where…when he feel a certain way on sh*t on his heart, Kyrie gonna let you know.”

While Boosie might not be happy with Kyrie Irving, his on-court performance tells a different story. The Brooklyn Nets are visibly going strong as they secured their fifth consecutive win on November 16 2022. The Nets defeated the Toronto Raptors by 119-116. Irving led the team to victory by scoring 32 points, five assists, and three rebounds. Kevin Durant added 28 points, four rebounds, and three assists.

Since Irving’s return from suspension, the Nets have played in 14 games and won 11 of them. Additionally, the Nets now sit at No. 4 in the hierarchy of the Eastern Conference table.

Boosie once gave Taylor Swift analogy to speak out for Brittney Griner

While WNBA star Brittney Griner is finally back home from her exile in Russia, Boosie Badazz once compared her to Taylor Swift. In August 2022, shortly after the Russian court sentenced Griner to nine years in prison, a video of Boosie surfaced on social media platforms. The rapper was visibly upset with the decision as he blamed the US government for not doing enough about it.

“How the hell this girl get nine years for a weed pen? and the USA ain?t doing nothing about it? You tell me that!”?said Boosie.

Furthermore, he indicated that if it was Taylor Swift in Griner’s position, the matter would have been handled differently. He added, “If that was Taylor Swift, it?d be a peace treaty right now! They?d be drafting to go to war!”
