The Playoffs are about to start, as the Play-In tournament ends. A lot of fans place bets on their favorite teams, expecting to make a handsome return. Not only fans but celebrities and critics as well take part in the betting ritual. Most of the time, people choose to bet on the team most likely to win and not their favorite teams.
Recently, famous artist Drake has made a bet on what he believes will be the Western Conference champs. This bet, though, wasn’t a normal bet. Accordingly, his prediction might upset a few teams and players in the west.

Luka Doncic might get upset after Drake’s prediction
Drake has made a bet with $200k at stake, picking the Warriors to win the West this year. This is a huge bet after all, even if it’s for a millionaire. Incredibly, this year the West is full of competition, the Warriors are finally back with their complete roster, the Suns will look to revisit the Finals, and the young Grizzlies and Ja Morant will try to make a statement.

The Warriors will face the Nuggets in the first round. Though this might be somewhat of a tough matchup for the Dubs, if they get past the Nuggets, they’ll meet either the Mavs or the Jazz. Looking at Mavs’ current roster and condition, Jazz might row past Dallas easily. Which will then result in a conference semi-final match between the Dubs and the Jazz.

This series might go down to a possible game 7 if it ever happens. Both the teams are equally strong in offense. The Warriors have Steph but the Jazz has a defensive wall in Rudy Gobert. If the Warriors manage to beat the Jazz, their next probable opponent will either be the Suns or the Grizzlies.
And to get past them will be tough as well. These predictions are tough to make, as right after the first round, the Warriors will face a tough opponent.

Luka’s injury hurt the Mavs’ playoff bracket heavily
Luka is suffering a calf strain and is ruled out for game 1 of the first round. The Jazz will have a great advantage over the Mavs as their primary scorer will be out. It is not yet confirmed if Doncic will be playing in game 2. Though if he doesn’t, the Mavs might get into serious trouble in the first round itself.

Whereas for Drake’s prediction, the Dubs will have to get past each team to save Drake’s $200k. Who do you think will prevail out of the West? Do let us know in the comments.
